"Amazing guide to improving your studying habits, which improved my studying and finding the motivation to do it at times where I would simply rather do nothing. "Every student should read this book. It is very well written and packed with productivity hacks. The text has lots of references to other books and scientific studies, and is filled with the right amount of humor, which makes the reading effortless. It is useful to undergraduates and to graduate students as well. My favorite thing about this book is that it teaches you how to absorb information more efficiently, and it gives you tools to become a better writer at school. This is a must have in every student's bookshelf (or kindle library)."

"This book is fantastic! I'm a graduate student studying in the sciences and I've found this book to be really helpful in bettering my note taking and studying skills. I'll start off first by saying that my attention span, in regards to reading, isn't particularly the longest. I'm just not much of a fan of it. However, when I picked up this book, I could never seem to put it down. The author speaks in a way that's highly relatable and entertaining. Something that a lot of students actually need in a book designed to help them succeed. What makes reading this book even better is knowing that he's walked a whole mile in a college students shoes before. So he knows exactly how we feel and what's going through our minds as we sit in class. If you apply the methods he mentions in this book, I'm sure you'll do great as a student! I've already recommended it to a few of my friends."

"I love all of Thomas Frank's stuff. I've followed his blog for a few years, and the culmination of all his wisdom into this little paperback book is fantastic! Even after graduation, I still find the tips in this book useful for the real world... it's chock full of productivity techniques that are essential not only for high school and college, but also for the real world. I can't praise this book (and the rest of Thomas' work) enough. You gotta buy it to believe it!"

"I really enjoyed this book. I separated from the Navy in 2013 and started college a year later. I have always done well in school and I have a tremendous amount of self-discipline. However, college is a completely different kind of animal. Thomas does a great job of explain things in a relatable manner without being condescending. I believe his advice would be useful for anyone who is trying to be successful not just those in college."
